Money Management
The Massachusetts Money Management Program utilizes the help of volunteers to assist elders who are at risk of losing their independence due to their inability to pay basic rent, food, and utility bills on time. Money Management Volunteers assist elders by visiting them at home to help with organizing their bill-paying, writing checks, balancing checkbooks, and more.
Money Management volunteers typically provide assistance to consumers twice each month.
Tax Aide Volunteers
Tax Aide Volunteers provide free tax assistance to those who need it most. Volunteers help in-person or virtual, depending on location. Tax Sites are located throughout the North Shore and Cape Ann, including local senior centers, Beverly Bootstraps, public libraries, and other community locations.
Volunteers assist as either a Tax Preparer, or a Client Facilitator. You’ll receive training, support, learn new skills, and feel great while helping others.
- Volunteer Tax Preparers work directly with consumers to help them prepare their tax returns.
- Volunteer Client Facilitators greet consumers, help them organize paperwork, and manage the overall flow of service at the local tax site.
