Project Warm Friends, SeniorCare

Since 1997, SeniorCare’s Project Warm Friends Program has been donating thousands of beautifully sewn, crocheted and knit items to people throughout Cape Ann and the North Shore.

Project Warm Friends is a volunteer program that engages volunteers, who work together in groups or as individuals, to create handmade items that bring comfort, warmth and joy to those in need. RSVP Staff collect handmade items throughout the year, donating and giving them to area programs for their consumers and people throughout our community. This is a tremendous effort by our talented volunteers, keeping our friends and neighbors warm, cozy and cared for. Volunteers donate their time and talents, bringing items for donation to SeniorCare on an ongoing basis.

Knitting Group Volunteer, Senior Centers

Many area senior centers have knitting and crocheting groups gather together on a weekly basis.
